DSLR CAMERA
Currently I have a Canon RF50. It is mid range but I am not a professional capturing images for a David Attenborough documentary. For now it does all the things I require in addition to the usual features such as Continuous High Speed Shooting, touch screen and Wifi transfer. I religiously go through and delete unwanted frames before uploading images to my phones gallery using the Canon Camera Connect App. Im very light on picture editing and just use the Lightroom App for touch ups to images.
CANON LENSES
Mostly I will take landscapes or architecture, city shotsm, food shots with xxx lens
For alot of wildlife I use xxx, which I luckily picked up second hand but looking and working like as new. Its very quick to use and light so I can carry this all day. However not great for anything close up or anything further away.
I also have a Canon 200-800mm which is great for birding or wildlife from a further distance. This lens is heavy and can be bulky to use so you need to be super committed to your efforts. ideally used with a tripod but I tend to use more versatility without a tripod as I tend to be moving around a lot. I think of the effort kind of like a stregnth workout.

INSTA360 X4 AIR with 1m and 3m invisible selfie stick
I really love this camera, something about the way it has a cinematic feel with its captures. The 1m stick is very convenient and versatile, the 3m stick can be a bit of a beast, especially in wind, but gets captures great views and I love hanging it off the side of edges. Taking the videos can be quite simple, just try different angles as it captures everything 360, Editing the videos I find the more involved challenge, there are so many things you can do and Im still in skill development here. I can also use this camera underwater with the Invisible dive case to combat water distortion.
INSTA go3S
I also love this little camera. The only downfall is that out of its pod the battery lasts approx 30 minutes. Its great for hiking, via ferratas, sky ladders etc where your hands are tied up elsewhere just have a careful think as to where you attach it. Attach it to your hat if you want it to capture where you look/your head moves, attach it to the magnet pendant around your neck if you only want it to capture only whats in front of you
DJI NEO 2 FOLLOW ME DRONE
BACKPACKS
Im a girl that only need 1 or 2 GUESS bags, but, I have multiples of backpacks.
NATHAN
This is a pretty skin-like super light vest I dont want to give up yet. I dont use the reservoir but it takes 2 x 500ml water flasks with nice deep pockets you can also stash a muesli bar or two and your car keys. The clips are comfortable, Could do with some small zip compartments but pretty suitable for me for 5-15km hikes. Like Nathan very much!
SALOMON
Will take a reservoir 2L plus 2 x 250ml flasks. I dont use the reservoir if I can help it as its hard to get water out of and the clip string situation is annoying. I dont get the rough outer fabric design either… On the plus it has lots of compartments for storing things, Not my favourite but I have it so I use it. Sorry Salomon…..
MOUNTAIN DESIGNS 20L
nice 3L? reservoir. Nice set up for the mouthpiece with cover and is soft and easy to drink out of,
As for bigger backpacks, If I need to carry a bigger backpack I just rather use porterage. I dont do multi day hikes where I carry a tent, cooking things etc etc

SNORKEL GEAR
Having your own = best hygiene, plus saves the hassle of cost and time of hiring, if you can be bothered lugging it around,
HIKING CLOTHING
I only buy Lululemon tights with side pockets these days. Yes Lululemon expensive but I have had most pairs last me literally YEARS and the fabric feels the best.
I have a pair of ‘baggy’ hiking pants with adjustable belt and zip off legs which I bought from Anaconda for something like $30.
